We are currently recruiting for a Senior Statutory Administrator on behalf of our client, a leading company in the industry. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in statutory administration who is looking to take on more responsibility and provide guidance within a dedicated team.
As a Senior Statutory Administrator, you will be a key player in assisting with the smooth running of the Statutory and Secretarial department, providing both direct support to clients and guidance to the Client Services team on statutory operational matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Statutory Administration: Oversee general corporate statutory administration, including statutory changes and Registry filings, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Statutory Compliance: Maintain statutory registers and ensure all related tasks are up to date.
- Team Support: Provide support to junior colleagues, helping them build their understanding and familiarity with statutory tasks.
- Entity Management: Oversee entity incorporations, dissolutions, and transfers, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Beneficial Ownership Database: Update and maintain entries on the IOM Beneficial Ownership database to ensure compliance with BOA regulations.
- Minutes & Resolutions: Produce minutes and resolutions for clients in line with statutory requirements.
- Project Delivery: Assist in planning and delivering statutory department projects in a timely and efficient manner.
- Client Liaison: Act as a direct point of contact for clients, offering guidance and support on all statutory matters.
Qualifications Required:
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above
- Part or fully qualified STEP, ICSA, or equivalent
Experience Required:
- At least 3 years of experience in a TCSP environment, ideally in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A working knowledge of CCH, Laserfiche, and ViewPoint would be an advantage, but not essential
- Strong understanding of the statutory and regulatory framework, demonstrating good technical competence
- Familiarity with anti-money laundering and compliance legislation
