Our client, a global leader in ultra-low latency sports streaming, is seeking a Live Event Coordinator. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology and sports who thrive under pressure. You will work within the Master Control Room (MCR) to ensure seamless live operations, monitoring incoming and outgoing video feeds for sports events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor live video feeds from global sports providers and client apps.
- Handle faults and escalate issues as needed, collaborating with the MCR team.
- Liaise with third-party suppliers to resolve escalations.
- Ensure video channels and feeds are routed accurately to client channels.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of desktop applications and an interest in web technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks effectively.
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required.
- Access to own transport.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of global sports and experience in shift work or an MCR setting.
- Experience in a support desk environment or demonstrated technical aptitude.
