Our client is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to support the finance function across multiple global offices. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare management accounts.
- Assist in the preparation and audit of company and consolidated financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, submitting reports as necessary.
- Work with key stakeholders to prepare management information and support the annual budget process.
- Help prepare financial reports for board meetings.
- Undertake ad-hoc project work, including supporting business acquisition processes.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be working towards an accounting qualification or have relevant experience in the preparation of financial accounts. The following skills and attributes would be highly advantageous:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, methods, and procedures.
- Ability to solve accounting problems and provide technical advice to internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
